(CNN) - The reaction to Lance Armstrong’s announcement that he would no longer fight doping allegations was about as fast as his record setting winning times at the Tour de France. Armstrong may be stripped of every title he ever won and faces being banned from all competition for the rest of his life.
Andy Shen is a writer for the cycling website, NY Velocity, and a competitive cyclist here in New York:

(CNN) - Great. So now, in addition to having to get our collective American mind around the concept of a "fiscal cliff" facing Congress, we also have to worry that it could tank the economy?
Yes. This week, the Congressional Budget Office released its latest economic outlook, including its assessment of what will happen if Congress does nothing to address the so-called "fiscal cliff" of tax increases and spending cuts coming next year.

So fewer jobs. Tougher times.
